ABOUT
I'm Elizabeth, and I'm so glad you're here.

I'm a UX Designer in Chicago, Illinois, passionate about making the digital world make sense as it continues to become a necessity for navigating our lives.

I'm especially driven to create digital products that encourage us to log off after getting what we need from our digital resources. There's an opportunity to prioritize healthy relationships with technology as the blueprint for each and every one of our designs.

MY STORY
In 2021, I graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a Bachelors Degree in Political Science. At the time, I didn't even know what what UX Design was, let alone it being an option.

I had hit the ground running in public policy and politics when I was in high school. From a young age, I was inspired by the idea of making the world make more sense.
As I pursued a political science degree and summer internships throughout college, I couldn't help but feel I was missing a sense of curiosity and creativity in my day-to-day life.
After spending the last year and a half of college online, I started working in bars and restaurants in Chicago, giving myself time to re-evaluate my professional sense of purpose. What can I do to make life make more sense for everyone, but also allows me to be creative and curious? That question led me to the world of User Experience (UX) Design.
With zero experience and what my parents would deem an "excess of self reflection", I got serious about learning the UX ropes. I enrolled in Google's Professional Certificate in UX Design, finishing the program in November of 2024.
Kicking off what I know will be a professionally transformative 2025, I'm working on prototypes, refining my skillset, attending webinars, reading, and ready to take on UX/UI full time.
